On Saturday, five children were injured after an inflatable slide was blown from its moorings by strong winds.
Three of the injured children were taken to hospital with minor injuries while the other two were treated at the scene at the Angel’s Football Ground garden event at Longmead Stadium in Tonbridge, Kent.
The Police and ambulance services were called to the stadium just after 12.30pm following the accident.
Hannah Applegren, who was in close proximity, said a number of children were on the slide when it tipped over.
“Because they were right next to the climbing wall with various metal posts, they have fallen on them.
“There was one boy with bleeding to the back of his head, and it was quite serious.
“It was very shocking.”
As part of this year’s West Kent Garden and Leisure show, the children’s entertainment included the inflatable slide.
Police said the Health and Safety Executive would be investigating the accident.
