David Rushbrook has been jailed for eight years after he caused a fatal road collision when he drove his car the wrong way along the A30 dual carriageway in October 2010. The family of a man who was knocked off his motorbike in a road traffic accident have been offered £500,000 compensation. Father-of-three, Garry Cobin, was travelling to work in November 2008 when a van pulled out in front of him and knocked him off his Yamaha motorbike. Mr Cobin died as a result of his injuries.
